I could see the beer hall being very festive later in the evening or on the weekend. I've done tours that lasted 15 minutes to ones that lasted almost two hours. They may also be limited on what areas they can take people. I've visited a few breweries and the length of the tour depends on the size of the brewery. I read a couple of reviews about the tour being rushed. The tours fill up quick so make sure you get there early to secure a spot. The next available tour was about an hour and a half later and we had a limited amount of time. I also ordered a original pretzel with the cheese sauce and mustard sauce. We didn't have a problem getting a table. We got there around 2:30-3 pm on a Thursday and it was fairly crowded. We stopped by Harpoon on our way back to the cruise ship after doing a tour of Boston. I would come back here again for their amazing beers!! Was a fun couple of hours before we got back to the ship!! We were not rushed at any point and all the employees were very helpful and happy! The UFO pumpkin was also a hit with our group of 7.

After the tour, you are also able to purchase full size pints of whatever type of beer you enjoy. You can purchase freshly made pretzels on the spot with different dipping sauces. You were given as part of the $5 tour an opportunity to sample their crafts and which I discovered my love for their Raspberry Hefeweizen that was soooooo yummy! Turns out, unfortunately for me, they do not sell this in the West coast, where I live!!! The brewery is very casual and seats a lot of people at tables and benches. The were well informed and loved their jobs. We were in Boston for a few hours and took a city tour, when we decided we better stop off at Harpoon Brewery for a tour.so glad we did! We paid the $5.00 per person to go on the brewery tour and had a delightful narration with two of the nicest females that I am sorry to say I did not catch their names.
